Adult Day Services

PCCS's Day Service program provides adults who have developmental disabilities with training and supports designed to assist individuals with becoming as independent as possible and to build or improve personal skills through structured pre-vocational, educational and recreational training activities and programs. With a focus on integrating individuals with disabilities into the community. PCCS provides training in both a facility and community setting.

PCCS's Day Services are CARF (The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) accredited. CARF is a private non for profit organization whose duty is to promote quality services for people with disabilities. Accreditation means PCCS has met the highest standards set forth by the rehabilitation professionals. We offer training in the following:

* Money Management/Budgeting
* Daily Living Skills
* Health and Safety Training
* Social Skills Training
* Cooking
* Personal Hygiene
* Decision Making
* Exercise/Fitness
* Community Integration
* Pre vocational training
* Community Employment
* Community Volunteer Opportunities

Day Services Staff Qualifications:
PCCS requires our Day Services Staff to posses the following qualifications;

* High School diploma or GED
* CPR and First Aid Certification
* Valid Drivers License and Insurance
* Background checks completed
* On-going training as specified
